Routines That Flex (Not Break)
Build routines with multiple versions, so a hard day does not turn one missed step into a total collapse.
Rigid routines often work beautifully—until they do not. A flexible routine plans for changing capacity from the beginning.
Try three versions
Create a full version, a small version, and a survival version of the same routine.
For example, an evening reset might mean cleaning the kitchen on a high-capacity day, loading five dishes on a medium-capacity day, or simply putting food away safely on a survival day.
The routine did not fail. The routine flexed.
